  16. drop this onto your system folder. it will ask to be routed to the Contextual Menu plugins folder. say okay. restart.

  18. now when you control-click on a simple text file or a read-only simple text file, toggler shows up in your menu. it toggles the state of the file back and forth from normal to read-only, hence the name "toggler."

  26. this cmplugin was written by me, brian pink, in codewarrior pro 4 in C++. it was based on Trygve Isaacson's excellent PluginFramework, available at http://www.bombaydigital.com/.

  28. i wrote this to let me edit my read me's and then switch them to read-only for distribution. it may be useful to you. or not. =) it was also a good exercise for me to learn more about the File Manager. can i just say, that is my least favorite chapter of inside macintosh. :p
